Although this site is primarily about Luxor, the temples to the south are too important to be ignored and we have given the historical background to the temples at Kom Ombo, Edfu, Isna, Gebel el Silsila, Abu Simbel, Philae and some of the Nubian temples that were moved due to rising waters of Lake Nasser.
