There are literally thousands of tombs on the west bank and many of them are the finely decorated tombs of Noblemen. |

EL-KHOKHA East of ‘Sheikh el-Qurna’ is EL-KHOKHA. There are some 55 numbered tombs dating from the New Kingdom (18th Dynasty), including some from the 19th Dynasty. In addition, there are some 5 Old Kingdom Tombs.
